 We meet at 4976 State Route 160, Just Two miles North of Holzer Clinic
Situated just outside beautiful, historic Gallipolis, Ohio, The Lighthouse Mission Statement is:
 " to reach people for Jesus Christ through high-quality, people-oriented ministries that have the central focus of meeting the real needs of people."
Our Slogan:
 "Loving God - Loving People - Bringing the two together."
This slogan reflects our understanding of the
"Two Great Commandments:"
"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: This is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:30, 31)

 Our Finances
Offering plates are not used in our church.
Guests are not expected to contribute.
We trust the Lord to motivate His people to give His tithes and their offerings.
A "Joash Chest" (See 2 Chronicles 24:8-14) is provided in the foyer where believers can place their offerings as they come and go.

 Church Services:
The Church meets three times a week,
1.  Preaching Service on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
2.  Bible Study on Sunday 6:00 p.m.
3.  Prayer Meeting on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.  
We are a Bible believing congregation.  We believe that God has given us direction in His Inerrant Word. So that in everything we say and do, we try to answer the question, "What saith the Lord?"
John Wesly wrote: "I am a creature of a day, passing through life as an arrow through the air.  I am a spirit coming from God, and returning to God; just hovering over the great gulf; a few months hence I am no more seen; I drop into an unchanging eternity!  I want to know one thing - the way to heaven. . . God Himself has condescended to teach the way.  He hath written it down in a book.  O give me that Book!  At any price, give me the Book of God."
We need the Book.

 OUR MESSAGE:
Bible Based:
We believe that the Bible is God's word.  The Bible, therefore, is our guide for our message and our life.
Spirit Empowered:
The Spirit of God is active in bringing the truth of the Bible to our understanding.  We, therefore, depend upon Him to guide us into the truth.
Christ Centered:
Jesus  Christ is the focus of the Bible.  He is the theme.  Because of this, all that we do is centered upon Jesus, the Son of God.

 Member of Gideons International
Dr. Jon Sullivan, a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God, is a member of Gideons International.  The Gideons provide Bibles to hospitals, hotels, medical personnel, students, armed forces personnel, and others.  They are made up of professional men and their wives who volunteer to speak in churches to raise funds to distribute Bibles throughout the world.
